Paul Smith & Lasonic Nod to the Boombox

If you were an 80's adolescent (or remain one at heart), then my delving into meticulous detail about the "boombox boom" would be moot. Any music fan raised during that era may now suffer from a cluster of back and/or shoulder issues (especially those from the old school hip-hip set).

I'm sorry to confuse anyone under the age of 23 (maybe 24?)-- this was ions before the invention of the iHome. Back then, we had to use these now-antiquated audio devices called "tape cassettes", followed by orbicular doodads called "c.d.'s” (pronounced see-dee).

Lugging around a hefty metal box with some speakers on it was the best way to kick off a public dance party.

These days, technological advancements in audio projection have made the affordable things as small and compact as possible, while keeping the expensive stuff exceedingly importable. In this case, Paul Smith & Lasonic went against the grain, and decided to craft something that hybridizes the look and feel of the iconic 80's Boombox with the sound capabilities of modern high-end stereo equipment. All that’s left for you to do is grab your old low tops and fanny pack out of the closet, and reassembles your old breakdancing crew from high school. Oh wait, I forgot those are back in style too.
