In a recent episode of his show 'Parts Unknown' on CNN, host Anthony Bourdain expressed his disdain for electronic dance music. He explains that while the Vegas performers of the past, like Wayne Newton and Danny Gans, were "legends," the modern performers of Sin City are DJs, who cater to "Lords and Princelings of Douchedom."

Ouch... Shots fired.

However, he does at least suggest the possibility that his and Penn Jillette's misunderstanding of the genre's appeal is a result of their age, but even a trip to the famous Marquee Las Vegas doesn't seem to change how he views EDM.

Now, if Bourdain was a DJ, what do you think he would say to the crowd? He actually lets us know in this segment:

"Come ye lords and princelings of douchedom. Hear my clarion call. Anointeth thyself with gel and heavenly body spray. Maketh the sign of the devil horns with thine hands. Let there be high fiving and the hugging of many bros, for this is the kingdom and the power."

Not PLUR, Anthony… not PLUR at all.
