In society, all humans do not live in equal status. Wealth and possessions divide us, despite the fact that we are essentially all created equal.

You cannot say the same about music videos. Lido's new music video for his single, "Money," featured on his I Love You EP on Pelican Fly, proves that not all music videos are created equal. The video comes complete with beautiful images representing enormous wealth, lavish displays of greed and materialism, until all are washed away by death's inevitability.

The end of the video reads, "OMNIA MORS AEQUAT," a Claudian quote that translates to "Death Renders All Equal." An aphorism brilliantly portrayed by this stunning music video.

Reminiscent of Gesaffelstein's acclaimed music video for "Pursuit," director/artist Jam Sutton has created one of the more impressive music videos in recent memory.
