elektro Freshman 2014: Oliver

What happens when two producers with like minded music taste meet up in LA and start making music? You get the emerging duo of OLIVER and it was nothing short of fate that brought these two together. Oliver “Oligee” Goldstein and Vaughn "U-Tern" Oliver are able to channel their love for classic R&B, hip-hop, disco, and funk to create the future of electronic dance music.

The duo first got the attention of the masses when they were featured on the Destructo hit tune 'LA Funky' and soon was signed to Fools Gold Records. Their Fool's Gold debut was the 'Mechanical' EP featuring iconic tracks like 'MYB' and 'NIght Is On My Mind,' which shed light on the diverse taste these two producers possess. Collaborations with A-Trak and remixes for Boys Noize have recently garnered attention from buzzing EDM fan-base and this festival season is shaping up to be huge for Oliver, having performed at Ultra Music Festival, and set to perform at HARD Summer and Spring Awakening Music Festival, on top of their tour with Chromeo. The sky is the limit for these multi-genre loving producers and with a label like Fools Gold in their corner we can expect some exciting new things to come in the future.
