supra gets tvrnt up w rl grime and friends at grand opening of new santa monica boutique

Last night, an attractive crowd of hipsters, skaters, fashionistas and sneakerheads assembled at the opening party for footwear brand SUPRA's newest retail location. The shop, located in the heart of the Santa Monica shopping district, is the second SUPRA store in the United States and the third in the world. DJ Spider opened the night on the decks and was followed by L.A. DJ favorite RL Grime, who laid down a hyphy set of rap samples and bass thump that got the packed crowd dancing. The music was a fitting soundtrack for the night of SUPRA celebration and skate culture appreciation.

Attendees included pro skaters Jim Greco, Chad Muska, Terry Kennedy and Boo Johnson, DJ Ill Will, grammy award winning producer Hitboy, Odd Future, and star of Dallas, Jesse Metcalfe. The event continues this weekend with the release of the Skytop III "LA" shoe, which is available exclusively at SUPRA Santa Monica. Check out the new Skytop III below.
