How excited are you to be playing at LIV tonight?

Very excited! It's always fun to play here. People in Miami love to dance, they're sexy. I always love to bring a little sexy tribal sounds. When we got this gig we were looking forward to it for months/weeks!

Awesome. At what moment did you make the decision to become a DJ and dedicate your life to it?

For me it was when I first stepped foot into the DJ booth with him in Amsterdam. We never had the intention to become DJs but we started doing it because our friends asked us to do it so we agreed. 5-6 hours flew by like 30 minutes, it was so much fun! I was like "I think I like this!" We just did it and it kinda happened. But I think the point when we really got serious about it was when we got a residency in this small town in Holland. This guy booked us for every week, then we started getting fans who would wear shirts with our names on them, we were like "wow!" To get to this venue we had to drive like 40 minutes from Amsterdam, it was a big deal haha.

If you weren't DJing right now, what do you think you'd be doing?

Sunnery: I think I would be a soccer coach. I was into graphic design before I really got into this DJ thing.

Ryan: I started doing real estate because I had to do something but my great passion on the side is soccer so I think I would be helping young kids as well.

What's your favorite venue to date?

It's hard because there's so many nice venues. There's this one club, and it's amazing. It's called Green Valley and it's in Brazil. It feels like a maze, like it's made out of your dreams.

Ryan, I read you really like pulling practical jokes. Was there any particular reason for that and what'd you do?

Ryan: Well, not much I think. That's the whole thing.

Sunnery: It's still like that! Once we lived in the same house and mind you I'm terrified of ghosts. So this guy went outside and he put on a classical radio show where they're playing mozart and shit. Then, he knocked on the door (having placed a mattress on the door) so once I opened it the mattress fell on me haha, I was shocked! Then he texted me like "How is it?"

Ryan: Haha yeah, we're always on the road so stuff like that happens a lot.

If the world was ending and you had to make one last playlist, what songs would you put on it?

Save the world by SHM for the first song. I would everything from Sander Van Doorn to Dennis Ferrer. Reggae, Hip Hop, everything that got us to where we are now. Of course house music. When we're not working we listen to everything. We go out to Reggeton parties and even listen to really Dutch music, we love the culture.

Are there any new artists you think we should keep an eye out for?

Yes, definitely our boy Yves V. That guy's a beast in the studio, he's doing really well.

Ryan: Have you guys heard of Tiesto? haha

Sunnery: Haha we like these Canadian dudes Paris & Simo. Also we just finished up a track with someone from Canada, it's gonna be a big track and it's getting released on Musical Freedom.

Anything else you guys wanna let us know about?
