Sign Up for the Scratch DJ Academy

The Scratch DJ Academy allows you to create the next hottest remix, master your demo mix, or make your own beats for your next EP in our Music Production offerings. Classes are available for all skill levels, interests, and time commitments. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have created a 2-4 track EP as their final project and receive a plaque award and entry into our alumni program. Select graduate’s tracks will be considered for features on Scratch DJ Academy’s media outlets, as well as our curriculum materials.

This four course sequence (MP 101-MP 404) will take you from beginner to advanced-level course material in the popular Ableton Suite 8 software package, covering:

Ins & outs of Ableton Suite 8
Music theory & song structure
In depth sampling & sound design techniques
DJing live with Ableton
Creating remixes & mashups
Mastering & personalizing your sound
