Rustie “Slasherr”

Glasgow native Rustie is an artist known for his complexity of sound and attention to minute details within his productions. The poster boy for “wonky,” a genre of EDM with stylistic origins in glitch hop, dubstep, electro, and grime, Rustie has shown the world that texturing beats with synth and a large dose of hip-hop undertones can produce some amazing records. Preparing for a massive showcase at SXSW, Rustie has released a new track “Slasher.” Already in the top 5 on dance charts in the UK “Slasher” is a huge track with cascading crescendos, bass filled drops, creative samples, and dynamic intonations.
