Pioneer announces first club sound systems

Summer on the European continent seems to just keep getting better and better this year. As if those flocking to the white isle of Ibiza didn’t have reason enough to celebrate and dance this summer, Pioneer’s European division has announced the release of their first club sound systems, the GS-WAVE and XY lines. The GS-WAVE line, built in collaboration with renowned Gary Stewart Audio, is geared toward big room-oriented systems, boasting subsonic bass, dedicated low- to midrange drivers and 110-degree dispersion of the highs. The XY line is smaller and produced in collaboration with Powersoft to bring a system for a smaller club or lounge experience. Driven by the Powersoft K-Series DSP amps, the XY line will help pack a powerful punch for more intimate settings and sound. According to Pioneer, the coming weeks will see the installation of “the flagship sound system in a number of world-famous clubs in Ibiza and beyond."
