We sat down with elektro Freshmen Vaughn Oliver (half of the Fool's Gold duo, Oliver) and got the low-down on where to go and what to eat while in their home town.

Favorite LA Bar:

Edendale’s

Beautiful bar with spacious patios and eclectic "fusion" menu of South American, Asian, Mediterranean & Latin American influences.

Favorite LA Restaurant:

This place Animal I went to the other week – that was really the bomb, that was good.

Fried rabbit legs with sour cream gravy & sugar snap peas.

Favorite Sports Team:

Vancouver Canucks… Not LA & they’re terrible but I love them.

Favorite Clothing Store:

I just go to Topman or something – I’m lazy.

Non-touristy hangout spot:

I like to hang out around the Franklin/Beachwood area there – there’s some cool shit around there.

Great venue that you like to see acts perform:

Great venue… in LA? Oh, that’s a tough one. I actually don’t know any great venues. Can we skip this?
