If you were keeping up with music and hitting the clubs last summer, you probably heard his hit single, “Kids”—it only garnered support from some of the biggest names in electronic music. His follow-up track, “Drums,” promises to bring just as much heat on the dancefloor. With its classic big-room buildups and dub-step infused drops, this latest release by rising star Kaz James brings a massive wave of sound and power—in fact, it has so much promise that several big artists have already set to work remixing the track. Static Revenger draws out those buildups and nixes the grinding bass in favor of a more progressive drop. Offering a slightly different take are Maison & Dragan, who’s remix plays up the synths and launches listeners into a bass-heavy electro whopping of a drop. Finally, Portugal-native DJ and producer Oskar offers us two different re-workings, the groovy and aptly named “Future Funk Remix,” and his booming “Arena Remix.” Listen to them below and keep an ear out for the official release November 26th.
