Swedish progressive king John Dahlback shows us a strikingly aggressive side with latest release “Panic.” Featuring powerful drums in the introductory buildup, Dahlback’s signature melodies break in through this hard-hitter when you least expect them to before he tosses you back into the maelstrom. Equally fueled with energy is his second release, “What’s Up Now.” The beauty of this one is in the synth-work and the drop that hits a minute and a half into the track. If these two samples are any indication of what’s to come, we can’t wait to hear what John has in store for us this winter.
