ZHU – ‘Faded’ (Delta Heavy Bootleg)

By now we've all heard the breakout track "Faded" by the mysterious producer ZHU, which took over the internet last year and had everyone talking. To help create even more buzz surrounding the track we were also graced with standout remixes from the likes of ODESZA and Dzeko & Torres that offered up future bass and electro house renditions respectively. It can be argued that "Faded" helped to define the year that was 2014 and it’s easy to see why with the catchy tones and sexy vocals featured in the release. Now we are presented with a quality bootleg that takes the track to a completely different spectrum of sound, drum and bass.

With the new bootleg Delta Heavy have completely flipped the switch on the original by injecting some high energy drum and bass flavor. Friction debuted the track on BBC Radio 1 and now we all can enjoy in the madness as they have offered it up as a free download.

Based out of London, the duo have played a crucial part in maintaining the relevance of the drum and bass genre by staying true to their sound and releasing fresh and original material. Last year, saw the release of their Apollo EP that is a must listen for all drum and bass fans with it's futuristic motifs and catchy arrangements.
