Any fan of Yellow Claw knows the kind of sounds the Dutch trio usually bring — heavy, head-nodding trap beats that are built for the sound systems of the biggest EDM festivals in the world. However, they've thrown fans a curveball with their newest track. "Run Away" supplies a very mellow feel compared to tracks that have made them one of the hottest groups in the trap world, including "Shotgun" and "Techno" featuring Diplo and Waka Flocka Flame.

This is the first taste fans are getting from Yellow Claw's forthcoming debut album, Blood For Mercy. If this track is any indication, the album is going to come complete with a variety of unfamiliar sounds from the group. Over the past few months, they have been field-testing a new collaboration with Skrillex. The live rips of the track reveal that the track does push the boundaries of Yellow Claw's sound (as would any collaboration alongside the OWSLA leader). Whether or not this much-anticipated collaboration will be included on Blood For Mercy remains to be seen. However, Yellow Claw experimenting with new sounds and styles is something fans should come to expect moving forward.

While "Run Away" provides a relaxed sound that would most likely not mesh well with their live repertoire, the track provides for a great tune to turn down to — quite contrary to what we're used to from Yellow Claw. Check out the track above, and stay tuned for official release information on Blood For Mercy to come soon.
