Skrillex Confirms New Solo Album Coming Soon

Fresh off the release of his collaborative album alongside Diplo, Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U, Skrillex is not taking his foot off the gas. Instead, he's been gearing up for the release of a new solo album. In the video above from International Art of Bowling, "Bowling with Skrillex," the superstar DJ-producer informs the viewers that a new Skrillex album is coming soon at the 1:45 mark in the video. Though uploaded on April 8, this video must be old, as he includes the Jack U album in his upcoming plans. This means we're even closer to the release of the album, which very well may come in 2015.

Anyone who's been following Skrillex closely in the past couple months knows that he's been hard at work in the studio. He has a track coming out with MUST DIE!, who gave fans a listen to the track at a live performance. He recently gave fans their first listen of his forthcoming track with DJ Snake on Holy Ship!!!. Yellow Claw also recently treated their fans to their unreleased collaboration with the OWSLA leader while on tour. Skrillex and Wiwek recently revealed their collaboration to be titled "KILLA." His collaboration with Jauz and Fatman Scoop, which Jauz has been field-testing at events like Ultra Music Festival, also marks one of the most anticipated tracks of the year thus far. On top of all that, Skrillex will also be working with disco-pioneering legend Giorgio Moroder on composing the score for the TRON video game.

Needless to say, 2015 is going to be an exciting year for Skrillex and his fans. Whether or not these tracks will be featured on this newly announced album, we're going to be receiving some new tunes courtesy of Sonny Moore very soon.
