They’re one of the most successful electronic production duo’s to have come out of the UK in the last decade, and for good reason too. Known together as Simian Mobile Disco, producers James Ford and Jas Shaw have done work for artists such as Peaches, Arctic Monkeys, and Florence and the Machine. Best known for their analogue production and live shows, the team developed a unique ambient and dreamy sound with their recent EP, A Form Of Change, which took us on a journey through a soundscape of shifting dreamlike musical patterns. In support of their most recent full-length album, titled Unpatterns, the two have announced they will be hitting the road this week on a tour of North America, which will span twelve cities as well as an in-store performance on November 29 at Mount Analog in LA.
