Shiba San – ‘Planet Floor’ EP (Preview)

After releasing arguably the biggest track of 2014 in "Okay," Shiba San is set for another massive release to add to his repertoire. As France’s newest house phenom, he has developed a nag for blending hip hop and ghetto sounds into uniquely crafted house tracks. Proving to be a skilled DJ as well, he has already lined up headlining gigs at clubs and festivals around Europe and the US making him a breakthrough artist to look out for this year. Shiba San’s music clearly embodies the Dirtybird sound they have established, and it’s only fitting that he be the one to release their first official single in 2015.

Leading off the release with "Planet Floor," Shiba San takes us deep into house and booty bass rhythms with his distinct arrangement. Paired perfectly with "Show Me, Show Me," which uses a familiar hip-hop melody reminiscent of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s hit tune "Shimmy Shimmy Ya," makes this release a must own for all Dirtybird and hip-hop fans alike. It’s obvious that Shiba San has an ear for what makes a track work and the talent to produce a quality release. Be sure to grab this one when it drops on February 23.
