Sharam Jey & Dirty Disco Youth “Up Rock!” + Firebeatz remix

“Up Rock!” is a collaboration between German-based Sharam Jey and Dirty Disco Youth. The track starts off tame enough with a distinctly tech house feel to it layered with disco sounds. Listeners are soon warped into a funky, house drop that injects energetic electro sounds onto dancefloors.

Dutch duo Firebeatz’s remix of “Up Rock!” takes a less subtle approach and rarely takes the throttle off the high-energy of the original. Listeners are given a (brief) respite in between the funk of the original, but the anthem-like progression continues throughout.
