Savoy and Heather Bright “We Are the Sun” Big Gigantic Remix

Savoy’s “We Are the Sun” (featuring vocals by South African singer Heather Bright) here gets the remix treatment by Colorado-based electro-funk duo Big Gigantic. The result is a massively fast-paced multi-peaking banger that’s significantly lighter and brighter than Savoy’s own deep-bass glitch trip remix yet still maintains enough trace elements of the original song’s deep dub wobble to give it a hard edge. Big Gigantic soften the sound with their signature jazzed out jam rock fusion and bring the track to an ecstatically high/low, light/dark climax that relies heavily on a repetitious sample of Bright’s “oh-oh-oh-oh-oh” vocals. The result is a dub funk club jam right on par with the already solid original.
