Big Gigantic – ‘Get On Up’

Electronic funk duo Big Gigantic returns with a brand new track, "Get On Up," the group's first original track since releasing their eight-track EP The Night Is Young in February of 2014.

This new track brings the classic sound that Big Gigantic fans have come to know and love. Their signature sax and horn progressions supply that familiar energetic feel, before dropping into the hard-hitting, laser-filled electronic breakdowns that are built for festival sound systems. The track is available for free download via Big Gigantic's Soundcloud.

This track comes on the heels of their recent "Winter Chill Mix," just under an hour of relaxing tunes to get fans through the cold winter months. Back in October 2014, Big Gigantic was featured as the special guest on Diplo & Friends where they delivered their first-ever proper mix filled with new and old Big G material, along with tracks from personal favorite artists. The group also released an unexpected house-influenced remix of mysterious producer ZHU's hit single "Faded" in August of 2014.

As we approach festival season, Big Gigantic is currently booked to perform at Lollapalooza, The Governors Ball, Summer Camp Music Festival, Wakarusa and Mountain Jam. These festival appearances always keeps fans hoping for a potential BiG GRiZMATiK reunion (aka the rare collaborative live act of Big Gigantic, GRiZ and Gramatik). The last time the three combined was at the 2013 Electric Forest festival in Michigan.
