Saint Laurent Music Project with Daft Punk

Combining the forces of one of the most prolific fashion houses with the most prolific music duo, Yves Saint-Laurent and Daft Punk have teamed up on a chic collaboration creating stage garb for The Robots. The Saint-Laurent Music Project teamed up with Daft Punk starting back in October 2012. The culmination of the alliance can be seen in the sequenced “Le Smoking” jackets The Robots are wearing in the “Get Lucky” preview. Having created the mix for the Saint-Laurent showcase during Fashion Week this past fall, Daft Punk and Laurent creative director Heidi Slimane have a long history as friends. Slimane also designed their helmets of their “Alive 2007” performance and will continue to be a driving force behind Daft Punk's ensembles.
