UK dubstep icons, Nero, have returned with their newest release, their "Won't You (Be There)" EP. Featured on the release are two original Nero productions, the EP's title track, "Won't You (Be There)", and "Etude", as well as "Won't You" remixes by Bauuer and Club Cheval. "Won't You (Be There)" is an example of the unmistakable sound that Nero fans have come to love. This track comes complete with their dark builds, crowd-moving drops, and ground-shaking bass that blends with overwhelming synth to create the hard-hitting dubstep we've come to expect from Nero. However, they take a different approach with "Etude", which combines dubstep elements with electro-house stylings, using electronic progressions and dubstep wobbles, to create a more upbeat Nero track. Bauuer brings his signature sound to "Won't You (Be There)" with his remix that replaces the brutal dubstep wobbles with high-hats, vocal snippets, and a hip-hop key progression that supplies that head-nodding trap sound. The Club Cheval remix of the track is a rave-inspired reworking, with its electro-house breakdown and its hardstyle-sounding drop, bringing an unmatched energy to "Won't You (Be There)", while also supplying some elements of trap. Nero's "Won't You (Be There)" EP is available now as a release of MTA Records.
