Muzzy Bearr Feat. Exmag, BRANX and Benny Bloom – ‘Radio Glider’

Having versatility in the music game is always something that can put an artist ahead of the curve. Whether it’s being an experienced musician who also has the production skills in the studio or a skilled DJ who has the ear for digging in the crates in search of the undiscovered gems, knowing how to apply these skills in the industry can make or break an artist. With that being said, an up and coming artist who has versatility in spades is the Detroit based Muzzy Bearr, who is shining through as a bright young artist gearing up for a massive year. A skilled guitarist who plays with GRiZ during his live shows, he knows how to apply his talent to the studio process as well. His productions have a unique funk oriented quality with influences of hip-hop and electronica sprinkled in that allows him to create distinct rhythms and melodies. Muzzy Bearr knows how to make us move, and his story has only just begun.

Residing in Detroit, this 22-year-old musician and producer is set to take the future-funk scene by storm with his debut album on GRiZ’s All Good Records. The album titled Vintage Sutra will be released next week but we don’t have to wait any further to hear what Muzzy Bearr’s been cooking up in the studio. With the second single off the album he presents us with ‘Radio Glider’, a quality future-funk number that features fellow funk innovators Exmag, BRANX and Benny Bloom of The Shady Horns. A smooth saxophone arrangement builds toward a gut wrenching guitar riff with synths and percussion elevating the energy.
