Two of contemporary house music’s most innovative live acts will collide this Fall, as Chicago’s Autograf and LA’s Goldroom partner for a co-headlining, 30+ date (found below), bus tour of North America. With both acts bringing live instrumentation and vocals on the road these shows will offer a glimpse at the future sound of American electronic music.

Autograf is also releasing a new original song for free download, ‘Don’t Worry’.  Guitar plucks gently glide alongside a pleasant melody and rising organ lines, combining for an amalgamation of sound that coalesces into a perfect summer track. It’s Autograf at their best, combining elements  of funk and instrumentation over a bed of electronica.

You can stream and download ‘Dont Worry’ here.

Autograf burst onto the scene in 2015 with a string of searing remixes that notched up Hype Machine #1s left and right. 58 million plays later and the trio have shown they are very much more than just blog buzz. Singles like Dream and Metaphysical, released on Ninja Tune’s Counter Records, and their subsequent 5 track 2016 EP Future Soup represent a body of work that shows Autograf’s penchant for melodic and kaleidoscopic hook laden house music.

“Of all of the artists that I've gotten to play shows with over the last handful of years, Autograf has struck me as one of the most unwilling to conform to EDM stereotypes,” says Goldroom. “I've always greatly respected Autograf for their desire to push boundaries, both in their productions and in their live playing.”

Often when it comes to describing a musical aesthetic it stops with the music, but Autograf have constructed an identity that extends far beyond their soundscape. Originally conceived as an art project, the trio’s releases have been accompanied by original art pieces from the band, while Jake’s background in sculpture and welding has allowed Autograf to create their stage design and even build own instruments including a marimba and djembe

From Autograf: "It seems more and more dance acts are trying to go ‘live’ these days, but Goldroom has been doing it long before everyone else. Josh is a true pioneer that's been bridging the gap between live electronica and indie rock for many years. Seeing his completely live band is a true inspiration, we couldn't be more excited to go on tour with him."
