Believe the hype, Halo 4 will definitely be one of the best games of this decade and to ignite fans more, the soundtrack takes us far beyond its universe. Few video game platforms are known as much for their music as Halo. The game’s captivating cinematic score is composed by award winning British electronica producer Neil Davidge. With more than 75 minutes of story filled music, Halo’s soundtrack embodies today’s electronic producing culture to the max. Track titles like “Ascendancy”, “Awakening,” and “To Galaxy” resemble the Halo 4’s futuristic environment and follows the game’s hero Master Chief as he confronts an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the universe. Along with a standard CD and digital download of the soundtrack, developers have dropped a “Halo 4 Original Soundtrack Limited Edition Box Set”. The set includes a 12 inch vinyl with Master Chief as the artwork, Making of Halo 4 DVD and book, a 12’X12’ Halo 4 Art print and best of all, the Halo 4 Original Soundtrack Remixes.

Following its USA Billboard entry as the highest-charting video game soundtrack ever, all 14 original titles are remixed by an eloquent ensemble of international producers including Sander Van Doorn, Julian Jordan, Gui Borattoa, Caspa, Koan Sound and Alvin Risk. These artists shape the original work into their own unique sound, many of the tracks are even festival ready like, “Ascendancy (Caspa Remix)” with its base throbbing dubstep drops and “To Galaxy (Sander Van Doorn & Julian Jordan Remix)” with its progressive house up-tempo beat.

This remix CD has already attracted influential attention; Mixmag has accredited the soundtrack as the “Album of the Month” and EDM stars such as Above & Beyond, Ed Solo, Funkagenda, Psychemagik and Steve Aoki give full support to Halo 4’s soundtrack remixes. The soundtrack is available for US download here and it is on iTunes for European and U.K. residents. For those fanatics, the first 5000 orders will receive a Halo 4 avatar download code! Go believe the hype.
