2012 is the year of Grimes, with the eccentric dream pop nymph spreading her alien-esque sound to a broader audiences, even recently performing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for her first ever American television debut. Now, Claire Boucher has directed and released her own abnormal video for her atmospheric electro pop tune, “Genesis”. Her and her crew of gender-crossing companions practice their best moves in various outdoor areas, while Grimes’ cherub-like voice creates a dreamy sound for the visual.
