What to Watch for at the GRAMMYs
The 57th Annual GRAMMYs kicks off tonight, and all eyes in the EDM world are fixed on the Dance/Electronic categories. The nominees for the Best Dance Recording, Best Remixed Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album feature some of the industry's biggest names, such as Disclosure, Tiesto, Deadmau5 and Kaskade, while some of the scenes brightest young stars including Audien, Mat Zo, Duke Dumont and ZHU are gaining recognition on this highly-esteemed level.
With each year, electronic music's presence at the awards continues to grow. After Skrillex dominated the 2012 GRAMMYs by winning all three Dance/Electronic categories, Daft Punk won four GRAMMYs for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Dance/Electronic Album last year. This year, however, it's anyone's guess who will come out on top. Our predictions — Disclosure, Deadmau5 and Kaskade will have some shiny new decorations for their mantles. Check out the list of Dance/Electronic nominees below, and see the full list of nominees at the official GRAMMY's website.
