A common theme found in trance music is to evoke a feeling of euphoria that carries the listener to somewhat of a dreamlike state, where happiness and elation take over. Uplifting synths and progressive builds usually do the trick and the legendary Eric Prydz has refined this distinct style of dance music which has allowed him to craft such quality productions. His recent take on the CHVRCHES hit "Tether" is a clear example of how a track can intoxicate the listener with bliss. When Prydz adapts an existing track it is not to be taken lightly as it’s a rare occurrence and usually something special.

Prydz’s version of “Tether" debuted as Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record In The World” and BBC’s Dany Howard placed it as his coveted “Future Anthem” with the track quickly racking up over 300K streams. Now the tune is sure to soundtrack festival stages and club dancefloors for the remainder of 2015. Zane Lowe states, “Eric Prydz, he just does not slip ever… once again delivering that perfect accompaniment to a near perfect song.” In a year that saw him play Madison Square Garden, go back to back with the illustrious deadmau5 and drive Pryda Recordings to new heights, it’s refreshing to see Prydz continue to take his sound to the next level.
