Eric Prydz, Arty & Jeremy Olander Take Over The Hollywood Palladium

Exhilarating is the first word that comes to mind to describe Saturday's show at Hollywood's Palladium. In his first Los Angeles appearance since 2008, house legend Eric Prydz, along with Arty and Jeremy Olander, took over Los Angeles with help from the Insomniac Enhanced Concert Series. Olander, a Swedish native heavily supported by Prydz, started out the evening, getting the crowd rowdy and on its feet. By the time the clock stuck midnight, everyone was waiting for the man of the hour to make his appearance on stage. And then it began. Olander finished his set with his unreleased remix of Gotye's "Bronte" and Prydz appeared.

From the first beat of his special "Viro" edit to the final drop of the night, the crowd couldn't stop moving. The lights and the background graphics – featuring Prydz's face along with his "Pryda" album cover – further added to the overall experience. Every song was a new beginning that only upped the anticipation for the next drop. From "Sweet Genesis" to "SW4" to his final song, "We Are The Mirage", Prydz played the best of his expansive catalog seamlessly.

Even after his final goodbyes, the night was far from over. Artem Stolyarov, better known as Arty, took the stage after Prydz and he's no doubt a tough act to follow. However, the Russian DJ put on a top-notch performance. Elektro – not to mention his legions of fans – couldn't be happier that Prydz, notorious for his fear of flying, made the journey to the Los Angeles.
