Dusky Go Old-School on ‘Ode To Detroit’ Mini-Mix

U.K. duo Dusky are known for their club-friendly tracks, reminiscent of the house sounds that gave way to dance music's prominence. Now, Dusky are paying homage to one of the most influential movements in dance music with their "Ode To Detroit" mini-mix, celebrating their Detroit debut coming Saturday, September 12 at Populux.

The group talked about Detroit's influence on the Soundcloud page for the mix, stating, "Other than London, it’s hard to think of one specific city that has influenced us as much as Detroit in terms of electronic music… something that is true for so many producers the world over. This was our attempt to crystallize that influence into a 5 minute mini-mix!"
