With one of the busiest schedules in the industry its amazing to think how Dusky has managed time to squeeze in the studio. The London based duo consisting of Mark Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell have been on a continuous tour for most of the past 12 months with headlining stops in Australia, New Zealand, North America, and all over Europe. Although this seems like an insane amount of bookings, in reality it’s crucial for artists to get booked as much as possible in order to make a comfortable living. Dusky surely know this and they’re hustle is definitely paying off. As DJs, they always come with a brilliant selection that will liven up any dancefloor which has made them one of the most sought after DJs to witness at the decks. Luckily for us they’ve also been able to finish off some new material and they’re giving us a taste of what is to come.

With a new four-track release coming soon, Dusky has announced their Ordinary World EP by sharing it's first single. "Jilted" is "One for the ravers,” as stated by the duo on their Soundcloud page, and it possesses elements that mirror that culture. Featuring a banging 4x4 rhythm with sophisticated bass stabs, this new track has the duo expanding there sound in the right direction. Their past releases seem to have more of a melodic feel whereas this new material seems to be gritty and dark which is refreshing in a sense that they are continuously finding ways to produce dance ready material. As much of their music is influenced by the rave culture that surrounded them growing up in the UK we can expect nothing short of absolute quality from Dusky in every release.

Be sure to look out for the Ordinary World EP due to be released July 31 on their own label, 17 Steps.
