After only a little over a year of making original productions, the Santa Barbara duo known as Candyland claims stake in 2013’s list of ones to watch closely. They’ve paired up with Clark Kent to take listeners on a journey to the future, where genres labels are irrelevant and all that matters is the auditory experience at hand. The track mixes elements of dupstep, trap, and traditional piano chords to create a mesh of sounds that work in sync with one another. They serve as the backbone for some goosebump-inducing vocals, provided by Slow Skies. The female vocals are soothing yet exhilarating, which makes for an odd hybrid of sensation that you simply can’t turn away from. Check out the full track below!
