Bassjackers, Dyro, & Henrix @ LIV 4/18 Reviewed
Thursday night, Fontainebleau's LIV was host to the fifth stop on the Grid Tour featuring Bassjackers, Dyro, and Henrix. Henrix, the quickly rising Miami native, kicked off the night for the Grid tour for his first headlining appearance at LIV, joined in the booth just to show support by his good friend Digital Lab. Playing a great progressive/electro-house set, which included many of his own songs, including his new song with GTA and Digital Lab “Hit It," one of UMF 15’s most played songs. After about an hour, Bassjackers joined Henrix on the decks. Bassjackers wasted no time, coming in with their signature heavy bass and hard drops. Bassjackers even dropped a series of trap productions that drove the crowd wild. With about an hour and a half of epic builds, blood-rushing drops, and twerk-friendly beats, Bassjackers electrified the packed dance floor, and couldn’t have left the clubbers more ready for the final headliner of the night. Dyro, the Hardwell-backed Dutch superstar that has truly blown up over the last 2 years, brought his high energy and melodic builds, that is coming to be known as the signature Dyro sound. One of the hottest DJ’s on the scene right now, Dyro did not disappoint at all, as he kept LIV on their feet all night long. With their stop in Boston the following night being rescheduled the Grid tour still has one more show left, but we can expect many shows to come from all of these artists, who clearly showed they have no intentions of slowing down on this night.
