Paris has been keeping techno duo Awonk a secret, but not any longer! For some hard-hitting beats, make sure you check out Clément Guillet and Nicolas Maldene’s latest EP, “Kimono”. The three-track compilation is surprising mix of tracks that’ll have you jamming and dancing in absolutely no time. The EP’s acid house-laced first track “Assid” covers groovy and spacey funk throughout its roughly six-minute run, immediately alerting you to wake up and really pay attention to what’s being served. The title track follows suit and sneakily leads you on a presumptively calm ride before you can even realize you’re actually on board one mind-bending buildup as wavy frequencies and quick claps suddenly drop you inside the track’s addictive hook and bassline. The EP’s closing track, “Mother of all Mother” doesn’t let you off easy either. The massive track was born for the club and peak hours across the land, with its simple yet powerful melody sending your body swaying in every which way in pure satisfaction. Check out Awonk’s killer “Kimono” EP below!
