You might know Wesley Pentz better by his DJ name, Diplo. Or perhaps you've heard of his record label, Mad Decent, which has brought myriad music styles to clubs around the world. Did I mention he played producer on M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes,” Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now,” and Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)?”

It seems only natural that this jack of all trades should add  "author" to his slew of titles. 128 Beats Per Minute: "Diplo's Visual Guide to Music, Culture, and Everything in Between" follows the man himself on a fantastical journey, from his involvement with dub reggae in Jamaica to the electro/techno underground in Tel Aviv.

The book, penned by Diplo and documented by photographer Shane McCauley, will give an insidious view of the EDM scene and what it looks like across the world today from the perspective of a musical innovator and nomad.
