Throwback Thursday with Raving Raeanne and R3hab

Dutch house producer R3hab was just your average student before becoming a world wide phenomenon. He has always had a passion for music, becoming especially a tune to the electronic dance music we know him for today. R3hab’s hard work as a teen paid off; now he is known as one of the most popular DJs in the world! I had the pleasure of chatting with R3hab about his most formative years as teen and got a window into how a superstar DJ is made.

Where did you grow up? What was that like?

R3hab: I grew up in Holland in a city called Breda. It was amazing for me, I went to college and always worked on music in my free time!

How would you describe yourself as a teen?

R3hab: Very active and busy. I always loved playing sports and music!

What music were you into?

R3hab: Electronic music and Hip Hop

How did your parents feel about the music you listened to?

R3hab:They did not pay a lot of attention to it until I started taking it very serious as a teenager.

What did you think you wanted to be at 18?

R3hab: Something in music, but I didn't know what I wanted to do yet.
