In response to the Summer theme, "Move to the Beat", London-based architectural duo Pernilla and Asif have completed the "Coca-Cola Beatbox" in time for the 2012 Summer Olympics. This multi-sensory pavillion, comprised of two hundred red and white rectangular air cushions, is a structure aimed at fusing the worlds of music, technology, and sports. As individuals ascend through the structure, they will be able to directly interact with and alter tracks by Mark Ronson and Katy B by adding different sports-oriented soundbytes, as well as change the lighting within the structure. The pavillion also provides a spectacular view of the park and surrouding area to its visitors at its peak.
