On August 1, Veld Music Festival will be returning to Downsview Park in Toronto for another installment of their annual event. This year, however, the festival is turning to one of its frequent headliners to assist with organizing the event.
Before the weekend of Veld Music Festival, I had never stepped foot in Canada and of course my first encounter with the country would have to be for a music festival. Having absolutely no idea what to expect, besides the footage from last year, I arrived at Downsview Park expecting a moderate sized festival due to the fact that there were only two stages available...

This past weekend was the inaugural Veld Music Festival held in Toronto, which turned out to another welcomed addition to the North American electronic music circuit.
Public transportation: Getting to the Baysview Front Park venue was straightforward, catching the subway to Baysview (last stop heading north) and then taking the festival provided buses to the venue which was a quick 5 minute ride
Toronto is getting into the electronic events mix with Veld Music Festival taking place August 4th and 5th. The lineup includes deadmau5, Tommy Trash, Steve Angello, Knife Party, Steve Aoki, Avicii, Bassnectar, Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate, Nicky Romero, Max vangeli & An21 and so many more.
