If you could have one superhero power, what would it be? It sounds cliche but probably fly. I've been doing more travel gigs lately and I realize this would be a handy superpower to have. I don't have to deal with airports, lost luggage, crying babies on planes, TSA frisk-downs, strip searches (bad experience in Dubai; thats another story) and all the other inconveniences that go along with travel.

First job you ever had? My first gig was working behind the desk at my moms tanning salon. That's how I saved up for my first pair of tables and a mixer. It was a great job because a lot of cute girls who came through the salon on a daily basis. It became the after school kick-it spot for me my buddies because it was right across from my junior high and at time we would even set up turntables and DJ over there while people would be tanning.

Favorite candy / snack? Gushers rolled into a fruit roll up. Its called a Gushers blunt. I need to regularly check for diabetes every 6 months.

What do you drive? White Mercedes Benz E-Class...I swear this isn't some plug for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week; its the truth. It was the very first car I bought with my own money but it's been in desperate need of a car wash. My friend puked out the passenger window after a gig in LA last month and its still trailing down the side of my ride.

Kind of watch do you wear? I've never been a watch guy. I grew up playing on turntables and scratching, and wearing them slowed down my mobility. I would bet most people turn to their phones for the time than their wrist nowadays.

Favorite Sneakers? Creative Rec's, Radii, Nike. If any of you companies are reading this, I'll gladly welcome a sponsorship.

Favorite fashion brand? I used to live in Spain and they had Zara stores everywhere. The stuff they make is right up my alley: simple clean designs, form fitted, attention to detail, and reasonably priced.

If you had one night left to live, how would you spend it? Thats a great question. I'd probably throw a big party with family, close friends, maybe a few models from fashion week on some fancy yacht with a line up of ridiculous musical talent. Daft Punk, Sade, Hologram Tupac...a little variety for everyone on board. And I'd play a few tracks myself of course too.

Can't leave home without? Locking my door.

First DJ you ever saw live? Roc Raida at Audiotistic about 12 years ago. RIP to that man. Watching his turntable mechanics and tricks showed me a whole new side to DJing beyond simply mixing records. The possibility of things that could be done with 2 turntables expanded infinitely. That performance changed my life and inspired me to improve on my skills everyday so I could one day have showmanship that would rival some of the best in the game.

How would you describe your style? As I frequently have described in the past: heavy hitting yet melodic. Not noisy and unorganized. I dislike 99.4% of the dance music that exists. I'm very picky when it comes to song selection and I make sure that my sound has musicianship behind, not just distortion and chaos.

What are your thoughts on the dance music culture right now? I don't try to poke my nose into it too much, but I think there is space for everyone right now. People who complain about 15 years old's stepping on their feet to dubstep music should simply go to a show in a more refined club environment. If you don't want to see things going mainstream then opt to check out a tent at Coachella instead of the mainstage. Don't bitch, find your niche.

Favorite track to play? At the moment...Wax Motif & Neoteric - Go Deep (Torro Torro Remix). Overall...my new unreleased single "25th Hour" not because I think its better than anything else, I just love to see the crowd reaction to something I've fully and whole heartedly created.

What can party goers expect from your set for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? It'll be my debut performance in NYC so you can expect that I'll be giving it my all. There will be a lot of tunes featured off the new mixtape in addition to some originals I've been working on. People here in LA have short attention spans so like I mentioned earlier my transitions are quick and you'll hear more songs in a 2 hour set than you've heard most DJ's fit in that time span.

What DJ do you want to:

Hug? Roc Raida, for inspiring me.
Party With? Dada Life, because they are awesome.
DJ alongside live? A-Trak and Laidback Luke, because they are the non-button pushing DJ's.
