Despite being covered in almost two feet of snow thanks to Nemo, New York City managed to come out and support Porter Robinson for the final stop on his Circle Assembly Tour Saturday night. The mini-tour featuring Penguin Prison and Seven Lions was one of Porter’s biggest productions with enormous LED screens and more smoke and confetti than you can imagine.

Before Mr. Robinson took the stage, Penguin Prison and Seven Lions got the crowd warmed up. I only caught the end of Penguin Prison but by the way the everyone was moving, it was clear everyone was enjoying them. Up next was Seven Lions, the 25 year old California producer that has blown up almost overnight. His set was filled with heavy basslines and signature remixes like Florence + The Machine’s, “Cosmic Love” as well as Above and Beyond’s, “You Got To Go." Seven Lions did an amazing job getting everyone hyped for what was to come.

The second Porter Robinson stepped on stage, he owned it. The two hour set was incredible, he dropped classics like “Say My Name,” and his latest collaboration with Mat Zo, “Easy” and mixed in Knife Party’s, “Destroy Them With Lazers” and M83’s “Midnight City” which made the crowd go insane. Porter incorporated transitions and drops from Zedd like “Slam The Door” and “Spectrum” and teased us with an amazing never to be released track. Porter Robinson seemed to be having just as much fun as everyone in the crowd, jumping and dancing around on stage. He proved that he's not only phenomenal producer but he also can put on a show that will keep a sold out crowd moving all night. I think it’ safe to say he went 110% in that bitch.
