Serato is making major news this week. After the software company announced it’s first iPad app – Serato Remote – it has been announced that Pioneer’s flagship CDJ-2000nexus will now be compatible with Serato’s Live Scratch software. The partnership of the two DJ equipment companies will provide those in the booth to mix with greater convenience and less computer screen time. DJs will now be able to access functions such as tempo adjustment, play/cue, and loop right from the CDJ player, allowing for less focus on a laptop and more focus on mixing. Make sure to check out the CDJ-200nexus if it isn’t in your arsenal already. Current users will need to perform a firmware update and then grab a free copy of Scratch Live V.2.5 here!
