You may recall the name Descender from his collaboration alongside the hot rising OWSLA star Must Die!, “Filter System,” which was featured on the acclaimed LP from the dubstep producer, Death & Magic. He recently showcased his production skills on his Castle of Hate EP, which hinted at why fans should be keeping their eye on Descender as one of the scene's most promising up and comers.

Now he's returned with a remix of the artist responsible for his entrance to the scene — a reworking of Must Die!'s "Imprint." Recently, with his remix of Polish duo Negativ and Merce's “Husky Kicks," Descender exhibited the kind of deep, dark techno sounds that he's capable of bringing, which served as a proper introduction to those unfamiliar with the OWSLA newcomer. His new remix transforms the hip-hop-infused original mix into a bass-y techno creation that would never be out of place at the best underground clubs.

Descender also shows why he fits right at home with the OWSLA label, bringing a sound that touches the the boundaries of Jack Beats, AC Slater and warrants play from label head Skrillex. Take a listen above, and watch for Descender's breakthrough in 2015.

The Imprint Remixes EP is now available on iTunes via OWSLA.
