The trailer for Muse’s new album, possibly titled The 2nd Law, has finally been revealed, and while rumors are swirling that they will be making a full dubstep album, insiders tell us this is not the case. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. The trailer starts off in typical Muse fashion with symphonic elements coupled with images of stock market crashes and a news reporter talking about the economy. Then the track quickly takes a complete turn when an image of a robot comes in the screen. Finally, the bass drops and the heavy dubstep kicks in.

In previous interviews the band has hinted that they would be experimenting with a new sound for their sixth studio album. In an interview with Kerrang! Chris Wolstenholme said, “We feel like we are drawing a line under a certain period of what we’ve done in our career. It feels like it’s time to move on and do something radically different.” The trailer indicates that we will have to wait until September for the release of this new album and to see how much they decided to incorporate dubstep in their work.
