2012 looks even more promising for rising star Matt Zo as he releases his newest EP "Bipolar." The release of this new EP coincides with his North American tour currently underway. This 10-day-tour is the longest Zo has had to date and the sky is the limit for the young and talented artist.

"Bipolar" is the epitome of synth-driven-progressive-trance.. You just need to listen to the first track to get an appreciation of the eclectic range he brings to the booth. The self-titled-opening-track "Bipolar" is varied as any song out there. From its vicious synth chops; to its beautifully calming bridges, "Bipolar" is a perfect opening track to 30 minutes of musical bliss. The last track "Yoyo Ma" is literally what I imagine Beethoven and Yoyo Ma's trance baby to sound like.

Look for Matt Zo to wrap up his tour at Above & Beyond's group therapy party at Ultra on March 22. You can also hear him dominating trance around the world on a regular basis (check out 400 in Beirut...epic).
