LIGHT Nightclub in Las Vegas opening this weekend
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know the dance music world has been buzzing about this summer’s nonstop action on the Strip. Electronic music lovers will see the perfect embodiment of the exciting new Vegas-dance hybrid this weekend at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The resort will be hosting the grand opening of its newest nightclub, LIGHT, one of the most innovative nightlife projects to grace the dance music scene.
LIGHT is the first-ever nightclub experience turned on by Cirque du Soleil, and promises to combine cutting-edge technology, out-of-this world performances from the globally celebrated Cirque du Soleil crew, complete with custom-made costumes and some of the world’s finest electronic acts in order to create a sensory experience like no other! The 38,000 square foot venue has a big billing to match its big space. The state-of-the-art nightclub’s grand opening includes some of today’s biggest and greatest names like Skrillex, Zedd, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Baauer, and has already booked future residencies with the likes of Thomas Gold, A-Trak, Mat Zo, Otto Knows, Krewella, Alvin Risk, Carl Kennedy, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hook N Sling and many more! As if that wasn’t enough, the LIGHT Group has raised the stakes, pumping this Memorial Weekend with a double dose of extravagant grand openings with the unveiling of DAYLIGHT Beach Club and its unbelievable pool party series. The newest Vegas pool party sets itself apart not only by providing advanced stage production, high-energy sophistication, and world-famous artists to the Las Vegas desert, but by also hosting a series of exclusive nighttime concerts known as ECLIPSE. The weekly concert under the stars will go from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. and is billed to be an “a never-before-experienced outdoor performance space under the Vegas sky," returning every Wednesday and select Sundays of holiday weekends through the summer months.
