Lana Del Rey shines light on EDM artists through remixes

Lana Del Rey might not evoke images of raging to your favorite DJ at a festival. Still, her songs are slowly creeping into the electronic dance music world, as evident by her remixed songs. From Gesaffelstein's techno to Jakwob and Etherwood's UK house, the genres run the gamut on her tracks, making it easy for someone to find a new favorite artist in Del Rey. The absence of big name DJs on her records is also notable; you won't see David Guetta or Afrojack mixing it up with her songs. Although her manager says, "Lana's not a big fan of remixes", it is a smart move on her (and her management's) part to try and gain new fans from the rising EDM scene.
