In an attempt to make not just their own, but dance music festivals in general, safer, Insomniac has released a P.S.A. titled "We Are Dance Music #WeAreWideAwake," which encourages festival attendees to put P.L.U.R. into action. All too often, festival goers that need help or medical attention aren't given the assistance they need, which is why Insomniac urges those who notice these individuals to act. The video also features a clip of Robert and Linell Shapiro, whose son Brent died a drug-related death in 2005, who explain that their son's death could have been prevented if someone had spoken up. It's certainly a powerful video with a message that all festival attendees should keep in mind. Your actions could save someone's life. Check out the video above.
