Hypebeast Essentials: Far East Movement

One of the most successful hip hop groups to break out of the LA scene in recent years, this four piece act has been making waves both stateside and internationally with their club friendly electo-infused rap sound. Described by member Kev Nish as a cross between LA electro rap, Miami club and Dutch house beats, the quartet scored their first American #1 in 2010 with their smash “Like A G6” featuring fellow LA based rapper Dev. Their latest album “Dirty Bass” was released last spring on Cherrytree records (where Lady Gaga has previously been signed to) and featured appearances by big names like Justin Bieber and Tyga.
