Hardwell, who currently champions the top spot of the DJ Mag poll, kicked off 2015 by releasing his debut album, United We Are. The 15-track release, which dropped on January 23, features a wide range of collaborations with a variety of dance-music producers and pop stars.

When Hardwell released the full album sampler, giving fans their first taste of the album, it was revealed it would contain collaborations with Mr. Probz, Tiesto, Jason Derulo, Fatman Scoop, W&W, Bright Lights, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Headhunterz, Funkerman, I-fan and DallasK.

Recently, Hardwell released the official music video for a track from the album titled "Sally," featuring vocalist Harrison. The track, which combines EDM elements with really bad rock sensibilities, wasn't well received by fans, and many feared the superstar DJ/producer is headed in an ill-advised new direction.

However, the newest full sample available ahead of the release is Hardwell's collaboration with DallasK, "Area 51." Quite contrary to "Sally," this track brings a much more identifiable Hardwell sound. Melodic synth-driven builds lead to the explosive, festival-sized drop and takes listeners back to the time EDM fans first fell in love with Hardwell's sound.

While longtime fans of Hardwell may find it hard to look past additions like "Sally," this track shows that United We Are does have a lot to offer fans of the big-room sound, while also showing that Hardwell isn't straying far from the style that landed him at the top spot of the DJ Mag poll.

United We Are is now available on iTunes.
