Australian beauty Emma Hewitt is the stunning voice behind such musical masterpieces as “Colours,” “Miss You Paradise,” and “Rewind.” Her latest release, entitled “Crucify,” is just as dazzling in its use of melody and emotionally inspiring lyrics. This time, an intense beat plays the pulse to this ballad of longing and desire. The track release was accompanied by a call for remix submissions; the winner, a Cold Rush remix by Estonian duo Erkki Abel and Robert Roost, cast Crucify in a darker progressive light while Ukrainian producer Zetandel toned it down a few notches for his dreamy Chillout Remix. For the ragers, LA’s Clinton vanSciver’s re-work candy-coats the melodies and throttles the synths for an electro-style sound.
